Factory utility privacy & cookies

Last updated: 11 October 2026. This policy covers Giant Tiny Audio and Giant Tiny Images, utilities from The Giant Tiny App Factory.

Your selected files

Each workbench reads the file you choose into browser memory. Selected files, filenames, previews and exported results are not uploaded or passed to the surrounding advertising page. Your original file is unchanged.

Audio: native browser audio decoding and a self-hosted MP3 encoder prepare your clip locally. WAV output is written locally. The workbench loads its codec from the same processing origin; it does not send audio to an external conversion service.

Images: browser image decoding and canvas encoding prepare the image locally. The tool does not use a remote conversion service or download an external image-processing codec.

Files and settings are kept in memory, without a saved account or browser database. Removing a file or closing the page releases the app's references; reloading starts a new session. A downloaded result remains wherever you save it. These tools do not request microphone or camera access.

Website and codec requests

Your browser requests the websites and their static code, including Audio's self-hosted encoder. The hosting provider receives ordinary web-request information such as IP address, requested address and browser information, and may retain server logs. These requests do not include your selected files. The tools add no analytics service.

Consent and advertising

Audio status: Google consent messaging and advertising are currently disabled. This configuration requests no Google script.

Images status: Google consent messaging is enabled on the Images tool page; display-ad requests remain disabled while advertising readiness is reviewed. The Images privacy page also describes its current configuration.

When enabled, Google services run on the surrounding tool page, on a different origin from the processing workbench. These services can receive ordinary web and device information and use cookies or similar storage according to your choices and Google's policies. They cannot access the workbench's selected files through the app's frame interface, which sends only its layout height.

Display ads are currently disabled on both tools. If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google and participating ad networks, may use advertising cookies to select personalized ads based on your prior visits to these sites and other websites, subject to applicable consent choices. These advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to recognize visits across sites; they do not give the advertising page access to the files selected inside the workbench.

You can opt out of Google's personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. The consent message's partner information identifies the participating vendors and provides their privacy details. You can also use participating vendors' own opt-out controls, or the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out choices for supported vendors. Opting out of personalization does not necessarily remove advertisements.

Where Google's consent message is available, use its choices and the tool page's Privacy choices control to review or change them. Declining consent does not block either utility. How Google uses information from sites using its services.

Processing boundary

The workbenches run at thegianttinyappfactory.com/audio-workbench/ and thegianttinyappfactory.com/image-workbench/ without Google scripts. Advertising, when enabled, belongs to the separate audio.thegianttinyappfactory.com and images.thegianttinyappfactory.com pages. This privacy page requests no Google script. The workbenches do not send files to a processing server, and they do not support cloud storage or URL imports.
