FREE AUDIO CONVERTER & TRIMMER

Big sound. Small file.

Trim it. Convert it. Turn the file size down.

Your audio stays on your device.
Listen before you download.

Opening your audio workbench…

LESS FILE. MORE FEELING.

Three little steps.

  1. 01

    Bring your sound.

Choose an audio clip up to ten minutes. Your browser opens it on your device. No account, no upload.

  2. 02

    Keep the good bit.

Set the start and end, choose MP3 or WAV, then prepare your audio. A lower MP3 bitrate can make the file smaller.

  3. 03

    Listen. Love it. Save it.

Play your result, compare the real file size, and download a new copy. Your original stays as it was.

How to make an MP3 smaller

Trim away what you do not need, or choose a lower bitrate. Compare the sound and actual size before downloading: smaller files can lose detail, and re-encoding does not always make a file smaller.

MP3 or WAV?

MP3 is useful when file size matters. WAV is uncompressed audio for editing and can be much larger. Converting to WAV does not restore detail lost in the original.

Sound good on your device.

Input support depends on your browser. Outputs are MP3 or 16-bit WAV at 44.1 kHz. MP3 may add a little encoder padding. Up to 128 MiB, ten minutes, mono or stereo.
